We were very pleased with the quality of work and the speed at which it went up. Graham and his team were very friendly, hardworking and on site early each day. During the build we requested additional work which was taken on and completed within the scheduled time. The brickies even came in on one Saturday morning to complete the job due to bad weather. Overall we were impressed with the workmanship and glad we chose ppd to build our extension.

Basement Conversion, Halifax April/May 2010
We were thinking about having our basement converted for quite a few years before we eventually got around to getting some quotations for the work. We had 3 estimates in all. Graham Nash from PPD was head and shoulders above the other two builders. From the outset he appeared very knowledgeable and gave us the confidence we needed to go ahead with the work.
We have not been disappointed! All the work has been carried out to a very high standard and we are delighted with the finished product. All Graham’s team were very hard working, polite and helpful. There were a few problems that Graham could not have known about until the digging started. However, he suggested a number of options on how to deal with these and we felt fully involved in the whole process. Graham was always available to answer any questions.
Whilst the work was being carried out, all the lads that were working in the basement made a big effort to keep the mess to a minimum and they always tidied up after themselves. They were all really nice guys, worked to a high standard and obviously took a pride in their work.
Overall, we are very pleased with our basement and would definitely recommend PPD. A big thankyou to all at PPD who were involved in turning our rather dingy basement into a wonderful new room!

Refurbishment in leeds, Jan 2010
Dear Graham,
Sorry we haven't done this earlier! Anyway this doesn't mean we weren't pleased - on the contrary we are delighted with our alterations. We should have done it years ago!!
When we decided to go ahead with some alterations to our lounge and dining room in early January, our decision was to have two or three estimates from different builders. However, on recommendation from the parents of a friend, we rang you and without any delay you were 'round to see us . We thought straight away that this was in your favour. We found your friendly but business like attitude to what we were asking, as well as your experience in suggesting one or two ideas that we had not thought of, was definitely in your favour! We liked you straight away (especially your smile!). Your estimate that came within a few hours as you promised; it was within our budget, and the fact that you could start within two weeks was ideal for us, so we decided to go ahead without getting anymore estimates.
We had two separate rooms, dining and lounge with a divided wall. We wanted just one room with part of the wall removed and dividing doors put in. The chimney breast was removed from the dining roomn and all old wood chip paper stripped off in both rooms. The coving was removed in the dining room, the walls skimmed and the old skirting board and architraves replaced.
Within a very short time (two weeks) everything had been done, even though we decided at the last minute on a few more things, eg two new radiatiors, new electrical fittings, a new heater in the kitchen. The men were very professional at all times: friendly, polite, always on time, and hard working. We were very impressed how polite they were . We made sure that they had plenty of tea and biscuits and the occasional bowl of home made soup! We were also very impressed by the way you kept coming to see us or ringing to make sure everything was going well with the alterations, and that it was all to our liking.
All in all we are very pleased with the alterations and it's just great to be able to sit in the front of house and look out to the garden and have the sun throughout the house. In the past the dining room at the back of the house was cold with no sun in the summer, but even now in March on a sunny day it's a different house!!
Thank you Graham and keep that boyish smile going!! We will definitely recommend you to our friends for any building work they might want in their homes.

We employed PPD(Leeds)Ltd to undertake our basement conversion in the autumn of 2009. At each meeting with Graham Nash I found him to be straight talking, open and honest. He was also understanding when, due to financial problems, we were forced to postpone the start of the work. However when we did agree a start date work commenced on schedule.
All staff and contractors employed by PPD were friendly, courteous and were keen in tidying up after themselves. In fact, apart from a few signs there was little above stairs to suggest any work was going on, which was good as we could continue living our lives in the rest of the house with minimal disruption.
There were a few hitches along the way, but Graham was always on hand to explain what had happened and what was going on. We were never left in the dark, Graham was happy to address any concerns we may have had.
The finished work is of a high standard and we are very happy with the results.
I would have no problem in recommending the services of PPD.

Extension and refurbishment ( Leeds 8 )
The work that has been completed by PPD has been of an outstanding level and I would have no hesitation in recommending the company. Graham and his team have completed work which has impacted on most of our house both inside and out and all has been done on time, discussed with us and completed to our specification. Graham and his team have all been polite, very considerate of our circumstances (I am heavily pregnant with a one year old) and helpful throughout. At the end of every day, the house has been cleaned and all equipment cleared away to ensure that we could carry on living as normal a life as possible. We would like to thank Graham and all of his team for the excellent work that they have completed and the professional manner in which it has been carried out and assure them that next time we need any work doing in our house, we will be in touch.

I had intended to write you a thank you letter after completion of the work but I have been so pleased and impressed that I would like to thank you at this stage for everything that you have done for us so far.
Trust and confidence are the key words that immediately spring to mind. I also like your prompt response to all queries and your 24/7 availability service which I hope I have not intruded upon too much.
Having seen other foundations and yours there is a clear differential in quality and if it were not for your creative thinking in the use of rolled steel joists and drain relocation etc we would not be enjoying the prospect of a beautiful open plan kitchen as this suggestion did not come from any other builder. I also like the prospect of having a £10k solid oak door kitchen fitted for less the half that price having taken advantage of your agreements with suppliers.
The list could go on and on but for the time being you are really nice guy to do business with and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone.

We recently (October 2008) employed Mr Graham Nash to supply and construct a conservatory to the rear of our property. His staff were polite, friendly and efficient and the standard of work was very professional. This work was undertaken and completed within the timescale that Mr Nash estimated and the quote was very competitive and exactly what we paid with no hidden extras.
It was necessary for some demolition to the rear of the bungalow whilst the conservatory was erected so that the original room merged into the conservatory. This work was carried out swiftly and with minimal upheaval to us.
Mr Nash correctly suggested bringing the roof of the bungalow out to meet the conservatory roof instead of it sloping back down into a box gutter which gave a far superior finish.
We are delighted with the conservatory and haven’t had any problems whatsoever. Mr Nash also provides a very good ‘follow up’ and after service ensuring that his customers are happy and satisfied with the finished effect. I am sure that if a problem existed then he would attend to it immediately to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have no hesitation in recommending Graham Nash and his team, they have performed a first class job in the supply and construction of our conservatory and I would most certainly employ him again if I were considering any further building work on my property.

You will recall that a previous rogue builder had commenced work on my loft conversion that was to provide a 2 bedroom 'granny' flat. He had abandoned the project after merely done the rip out and bodged what little installation of materials he had made. I was left in a total mess with a hole being punched in the landing ceiling at a particularly bad time of the year - Xmas 2007.

All work performed was to the high standard, reasonably priced and tightly managed by yourself. At no stage was i pressurised for payment untill i was completely satisfied relevant work had been done at a good standard.

Graham Nash of Pinnacle quoted for my loft conversion to a semi detached Edwardian home.Graham responded quickly to my request for a quote and arrived on time,studied the drawings before inspecting the loft and first floor.He measured up and pointed out a few shortcomings to the architects drawings,along with a few possible solutions.Graham called me the following day with a breakdown of his quote and made himself available for any follow up questions.
In the end I opted for another firm to do the work,but this was solely based on cost,as I am on a tight budget.Graham was very courteous and friendly,he is very professional and a pleasure to deal with.I will be using some of his suggestions in my project and will definitely ask him to quote for any future work.
